Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the first female who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. She finished second both in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter and also an avid CrossFit athlete as well as a popular media personality. She was the first woman to be awarded at the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie was brought up with her family living in Reykjavik Iceland. As a child, she was always a lover of exercise and sports. She participated in many school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions in California. Her first results were impressive. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. She stands at 5'7" tall and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie started the CrossFit training in the year 2009 California. At the beginning of her competition, she performed very well and placed in Top 10 out of 70. Although she didn't achieve any title however she was able to finish in eleventh place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. It was her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she became the very first woman who won CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman athlete to win the two CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy that was silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's rising recognition as a professional athlete has led her to become the spokesperson for many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Her self-titled Youtube page boasts over 1,000 followers, and she has posted the videos of her family and trips along with training and diet plans.
