Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy papers. Her first impression was that her job as stimulating intellectually, however, she eventually lost interest and opened a food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. Before selling the business the store, she worked for more than 18 years building it to the most successful shop. Many different cookbooks and magazines came later. Another success is her Food Network Television show. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients and storage containers. Ina herself, a self-taught chef and has not attended an institution for cooking or the hotel. Her easy-going approach to entertaining and her straightforward culinary style is widely known.
